The ECW X-Press: A Walkthough the whole show on 1/27/09

27/01/2009

Pre-show for them:
Well, I tell you why I not use the pre-show white space to rant a little about events outside of ECW?

-Randy Orton wins the Royal Rumble. excellent material. It has not been honest about Rumble as exciting as last year. I blame that on two things. One type that forms in the ring at the same time, most of the game. I'm sorry to keep things interesting should never be more than a dozen active guy in the Rumble. Went far beyond that for a while. Two, they had no anchor noise. That guy who flies around 45 minutes with shock and impressive. HBK is an excellent candidate who has in the past year, last time he was my son John Morrison and frankly, would have been Morrison again, but only lasted 19 minutes and not have to do much. Rey Mysterio has taken some time and has its moments, but was not as big driving the program I was looking for. The Rumble had two redeeming qualities … RKO RVD surprise cameo and impressive buffet. Randy Orton is honest with God, becoming one of my wrestlers bookmarks, which is surprising given that only two years ago there was a guy in the WWE I thought would be most overrated. You know, I think next week I'll put a detailed list of my favorite wrestlers. Tune in for this.

Swagga Jack always the champion. Not surprisingly, if a little sad to leave Matt Hardy will be the mark today. My problem is that they are more than willing to assault the ECW talent of two other brands (see: Bourne Morrison, The Miz n ") but never throw in the C are the backbone of this project, which also ends in ECW handle. Anyway, here is boasting era.

(Opening Video)

GM Teddy Long is there with his music always impressive. We are emerging from a historic Rumble "Rawl" pay per view. Rumble video package. It is curious that he used the expression "the guarantee of a championship game" in Mania, since only eleven months removed from the debacle of No Way Out Dinner and Orton. Anyway, the whole movie plays to focus on Jeff / Edge match, and the beginnings of evil Matt Hardy. Teddy confirms that Matt Hardy will make the jump from ECW to Smackdown. Teddy says that we have a great show tonight, because The Boogeyman is in stock. Words can not describe how much fun it was for me. Swagga Jack! here. Jaja, me I'm becoming the trademark arrogance. Not in the top of the top ten next week, but it is certainly on its way to her. Jack tells the right Teddy, tonight will be a great show because he is the champion. And tonight, there will be an official event of the championship. Beware the Mariachi Loco, Jack! Boogeyman entrance of his party, until the next Swagga and everything ", later, punk."

Boogeyman is in the ring. Ricky Ortiz, between not having to eat worms Boogey for people to love. They learn to fight. Well, I added the last part. Ricky solution is a rally towel. Boogeyman disagree. He hit Ricky and drying out of it, and let Ricky. Apparently, it was the "Boogeyman in Action is assumed that these two who have a game, but Ricky rescued. Now that is confusing. Ortiz did turn heel? If so, why? If not, what was the point of this segment?

Among racks, Jack Swagga Teddy Long informed him that he lost the ECW Championship in the last five minutes. Way to take care of your tape aluminum, Jack. I just want to say in advance that here, if it turns out that Hornswoggle has stolen the show gives me an F, right away. Teddy tells Jack to call for help Tiffany.

Promo for the elimination of Chambers at No Way Out.

Finlay vs Paul Burchill
Finlay works one side of the lock and the shoulder block. European Uppercut and pedals to the groin, then a more uppercuts Crossface. Finlay nails an elbow to the face and Burchill hit back with a kick clothesline knee down, y. Paul hits a corner clothesline and locks in the lock (Finlay painful facial expression is epic here.) When the appropriate destination, Burchill another clothesline and goes to a key. Burchill whips Finlay into the corner and lands a knee in the back. Tiny Horny pranks harassment long as Katie Lea. Paul continues, as it disappears under the ring, Finlay, which allows the nail of a baseball slide dropkick. Finlay hits the clothesline, the senton of children and large ~ FINLAY ROLL! He nails a back body drop and ends with the Celtic cross.
Winner: Finlay with the Celtic Cross @ 4:35

Naturally, if not was in this game, it was thanks to Finlay, and not boring, rigid Burchill. And it was not serious. It was a great game, but it was a match of Finlay, which is equivalent correct at least in my book. They have also resisted the temptation to get squash Finlay in two minutes, I appreciate it. Four and a half minutes was not ideal (I would have liked six particular game), but it's a hell of a lot better than the 2:40 I was a little wait. And as I said earlier, could provide some offense does not look like Burchill I was in the third week of fighting Hulk Hogan Celebrity Championship? I am sure that if he could play C-4, can be a little better than a headlock and drying.
Match Rating: 4.9/10

Among racks, Ricky Ortiz, Tiffany complains about how Boogeyman is a reflection. Jack Swagger interrupted for help in an awesomely arrogant.

(ADS)

A look at the Supper 12 Rounds. I laughed when I saw the trailer, because it seems a fair copy a little more interesting precisely the Navy.

Backstage, Big drippy and Tony Atlas were on foot. Jack Swagger if they saw the title. Drippy gives attitude (the microphone is always drippy awesome, by the way) and leaves.

RAW Orton is a summary. You know, Shane-O I like better than the average man, but even I had difficulty to buy (a non-wrestler with gray hair) a beating of three young, strapping "The future / present of the company" fighters. The industry has always been worth it, if just to "me Fire, fire now! Come on! "

(ADS)

Tommy Dreamer vs Big drippy
Hmm, not bad Colin Delaney Tommy mess around this time. Striker corrects the grammar of Grisham. Dreamer crowd really is. Henry pushed a bit then missing a corner charge. Dreamer is a school but Henry is right in his arm, he slams on the mat. Striker is really happening in the references bomber Smark this game, and dropped the name of Johnny Rodz, Bill DeMott and Stu Hart Dungeon. Hammerlock thrown into the turnbuckle and a header. Henry locks in wristlock feared. Dreamer comes out, but it feeds block. More wristlock, movement is a boring, but it is actually very good interpretation of it. Henry hits a armdrag and goes into a Hammerlock. The header of the arm as he does, which is a nice touch. Dreamer finally hits a Jawbreaker, but now is gone. The striker talks about going to the movies sticky. Formidable. Henry hits a ball slam, but misses an elbow drop. Dreamer with a running dropkick, Big Boot, and the second rope clothesline. Atlas with distraction, but in vain Dreamer sets out in some dropkicks Henry's knee, Dropkick the establishment of ECW! Dreamer comes from the second rope, but is caught, the world's wettest Slam and here we are!

Winner: Large the world more humid drippy Slam @ 5:28

I honestly did not expect much from these two. Dreamer is better against smaller guys. Sticky Similarly, with the additional bonus of being a bad cons too. However, working around their athletic limits, embedded memory / S Dreamer "wound in the arm well, and made me think Dreamer could win (given her acceptance speech two weeks ago.) So this was a game midcard more than acceptable.
Rating Match: 6.3/10

Among racks, Teddy and Tiffany Jack failure to help a bit more. It decides whether to go to the plaza, the title might magically appear.

(ADS)

In the ring, Teddy says he feels like a third year teacher, and wrote the joke is complete. The thief is out now, and no harm comes to him. Swagga said it was lame, and says he wants now. Hornswoggle Cue music. (

Finlay came out with a microphone, he said give it a second, and pressed Hornswoggle belt w / in the ring. This segment is 100% failure. Finlay Hornswoggle demand for an apology, which naturally leads to "Aha, AAAAAHH!" Correction. This segment is now 200% failure. Swagger an ogre called and says Finlay should have put it. Finlay denies it, if he had won the title. "The only thing worse than their ability to fight for my title are your parenting skills." Hornswoggle gives back and piefaces Swagger. Cue Finlay against shit Swagger. Look, I'm sure Swagger vs Finlay will be a great game, the first was. But it is depressing in every way possible.

Global Analysis:
Look, I promised from the beginning that Hornswoggle main event in an interview automatic = F. I was joking, but a closer examination that no reason not give this show an F. Dreamer Henry was very nice, but only had two matches, only the ten-minute cycle time and No Miz and Morrison, so it is not Ackbar. It was not quality television, and the Duende to come to ruin Queen Swagga fee with great potential scenario is a horrible horrible.
