Scientific Wrestling: The Chris Benoit murder-suicide: Exploring the role of head injury in homicidal behavior
I was completely surprised upon learning of the WWE wrestler Chris Benoit death this weekend. I was even more shocked and deeply disappointed to learn he killed his wife and son as well.
Benoit was the only artist in the WWE that caught my attention because of their technical skill in battle. I was really at a loss to understand the evil Benoit perpetuated in the murder of an extended suicide.
While the media seem to make steroids the scapegoat, it can not be the only pilot behind unhealthy behavior. There was an interesting article by The New York Times which suggested that brain injury may have a role in the article is here.
In this paper, former WWE wrestler and Harvard University Christopher Nowinski made the suggestion that concussions can be the reason and I am totally agree. Character murder or suicide (eg, prolonged events, placing Bibles next to the body, sending text messages to colleagues, etc) are not suitable for Rabies Roid. " Unfortunately, Chris was ultimately responsible for these heinous acts, not anabolic steroids (which does not mean non-steroidal anabolic to see are not bad, because they are).
Head injuries are coming to light in modern neurological / criminal research as a major cause that bad behavior:

This does not mean that anabolic steroids is not a factor in his behavior, I think it is a conclusion more tenuous when the argument of head injuries is at once so persuasive and supported by extensive research and testing (For interesting news story on the effects of anabolic steroids, see this link YouTube). The combination of a hormonal imbalance and psychotropic head injuries are fatal.
Chris Benoit made a living in a field is well known Entertainment by his favorite chair at the head and head-orders (one finisher Benoit makes the ropes for maximum impact) and the autopsy should include not just the toxicology, but a CT scan for brain damage caused by the "hardcore" style of fighting this.
When and if we open a school -Pro wrestling, wrestling is straight-up (wrestling style of shooting and competitive catch-as-catch-can). There are no vaccines for the chair of the head, no pressure to look like a bodybuilder, not an intentional head injury. I think the only good that can come of this tragedy is disgusting if people are open to learn lessons from it (in relation to spousal abuse, steroids, brain injuries, etc.).
