Netsuke – Accounts throughout history
Netsuke is basically miniature sculptures which have become an item in the collection. Netsuke is a piece sagemon carved rope () or a compartment of suspension, which was held tightly by the cord or pearls "Ojima, located between the Inro" And the netsuke. The inro hanged leaf kimono (obi) and netsuke ranked below the belt, holding the sagemon in place.

Another popular option is the carved figure Rights (katabori) and Kagamibuta, including a set of netsuke with a metal lid and a bowl, handmade in ivory. A special name "Netsukeshi given to the carvers of netsuke, whose background is a sculptor and artist.
While the popularity of netsuke collection has grown in popularity in recent years, counterfeits are often sold to those who have no sense of the difference. In this case, intend to buy a house netsuke, it is best to consult someone who has been in the field collection of art or an authority on the subject.
